Trevor Hedeman
Founder & CEO, CALCAR
Trevor Hedeman founded CALCAR to build the operating system western sports has never had: one official record connecting entries, verified draws, live scoring, results and public verification.
He grew up inside the sport, learning live event production alongside his father, Tuff Hedeman, a founding member and 13-year President of the Professional Bull Riders. He began competing at four years old, went on to compete for Texas A&M University, and spent three years competing professionally.
Across the past decade he has worked in sponsorship sales, brand partnerships, agency representation and event production — negotiating deals, tightening operations and running the logistics behind live rodeo events.
Outside the arena, Trevor has built and backed companies as a venture capital investor and operator. He was the CEO and founder of 410 Whiskey, which was acquired in 2025.
That combination — arena floor, production truck, commercial table and venture-backed company building — is what CALCAR is built on. The problem was never the sport. It was the infrastructure underneath it.
